Help a Baby Sleep Safe and Warm.....

    

       As we approach the holiday season, we are reminded of a quote from the Bible....."she wrapped Him in swaddling clothes and laid Him in the manger."  We at SIDS of PA like to think that this was the first safe-sleep message.  Since 1998 we have been advocating that the safest place for an infant to sleep is alone, on its back in a safety-approved crib.  However, many families cannot afford a crib for their infants.  Instead, these babies are put to sleep in adult beds, with other siblings, on couches, or other unsafe surfaces.

 

       At this time, we are in desperate need of your help to continue our life-saving project.  Through your generosity, infants will not only receive a safe place to sleep, their parents will also be given the proper education on ways to reduce the risk of SIDS.  Your tax-deductible donation can be made in memory of a loved one, in celebration of a new birth,

or in honor of someone special.  All contributors will be acknowledged on our web page.

 

Here's How Your Donation Will Help

 

~ $20 provides a warm and safe Halo Sleep-Sack for the winter months

~ $50 provides a Graco Pack 'n Play crib with bassinet

~ $75 provides a 'Safe Sleep Survival Kit', which includes the Graco Pack n Play, Halo Sleep-Sack, Portable Crib Sheet imprinted with our 'safe-sleep' message, and a Respironics pacifier. 

 

Of course, any donation large or small is always appreciated.
