Rachel Carlins Our daughter, Rachel, was only 2 months old when she died from SIDS 23 years ago, but not a day goes by that I don’t feel her presence in our family. Our family is forever changed by her brief life and the precious memories of our brief time together. Our subsequent daughters, Sarah and Emily, know of her life and death, and our son, Matthew remembers her even though he was only 3 years old at the time. No longer does he have to enjoy a grandchild from afar, but now he can hold one tightly in his arms. I have peace knowing that you are with our Almighty Father and Savior.
